It’s not an agoraphobic compact crowd, nor is it a dematerialised anonymous crowd in cyberspace, but it’s a small crowd nonetheless… More than 2000 people according to the organisers, and for once the police aren’t revising the numbers downwards. Yes, more than 2000 people who, having become cooperators in Supernova Coop, are acting together, each with their own means (starting at €50) to protect a venue from real estate pressures and preserve its collective uses. That venue is Nova Cinema, and even though it won’t be easy to hold general assemblies with all those people in its 200-seat hall, it invites you to join the ranks of Supernova Coop because it still has a long way to go before it’s out of the woods!
